Penrith
Penrith sits at the western edge of the Sydney provider market, which changes what coordination has to do. Fewer providers travel this far, waitlists run longer, and the ones who do come out often service a very large area.
Overview
We coordinate across Penrith, St Marys, Kingswood, Cranebrook, Emu Plains, Werrington and the lower Blue Mountains.
What we see
The recurring problem is not choice. It is capacity. A plan can name the right support and still sit idle for months because nobody available will take it on.
That changes the coordination task. It means knowing which providers genuinely travel west, which ones deliver by telehealth without losing quality, and when it is worth waiting for the right practitioner instead of settling for whoever answers first.
Local knowledge
Nepean Hospital serves a wide catchment, and discharge into an NDIS plan that has not been set up is a common way for people to end up back where they started. We prioritise the weeks immediately after a hospital stay.
We coordinate in English, Hindi and Nepali.
In Penrith we provide support coordination, specialist support coordination and psychosocial recovery coaching.
Working with Vitalya
We never coordinate and deliver direct supports for the same participant. No conflicts of interest, ever. We work with plan-managed and self-managed participants. Coordination is available in English, Hindi and Nepali. All NDIS supports are GST-free under section 38-38 of the GST Act.
No. VII. The next step.
Same business day response on every referral. Plan managed and self managed welcome across Sydney. The form takes three minutes.
Acknowledgement of Country.
Vitalya operates on the lands of the Garigal people of the Eora Nation. We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of Country throughout Australia and recognise their continuing connection to land, waters, and community. We pay our respects to Elders past and present, and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people who engage with our practice.
