NDIS Support Coordination on the Gold Coast

We coordinate for participants across the Gold Coast, from Coolangatta through Southport to Coomera and the hinterland.

Our practitioners are based in Sydney. Coordination is delivered by phone, video and email, and most of the work does not require anyone to be in the room. Finding providers, checking budgets, writing to the NDIA, holding a service provider to their agreement. That work happens the same way whether the coordinator is twenty minutes away or interstate.

Some participants prefer it this way. A coordinator who does not turn up at the house is easier to be honest with, particularly for people who have had too many workers in their home already.

The recurring Gold Coast issue we see is provider availability changing faster than the plan anticipates. Supports get arranged, a provider withdraws, and months pass before anyone notices the budget sitting untouched. We watch utilisation month by month rather than at reassessment, which is when most people find out.

We coordinate for participants living independently, in supported accommodation, and with family. We work with Queensland plan managers and know how the NDIA’s Queensland processing differs in practice from New South Wales.

Coordination is available in English, Hindi and Nepali.

On the Gold Coast we provide support coordination, specialist support coordination and psychosocial recovery coaching.

We never coordinate and deliver direct supports for the same participant. No conflicts of interest, ever. We work with plan-managed and self-managed participants. Coordination is available in English, Hindi and Nepali. All NDIS supports are GST-free under section 38-38 of the GST Act.
