Mount Druitt
Mount Druitt and the surrounding suburbs carry high levels of disadvantage alongside high NDIS participation, and the two compound each other. People here are more likely to have a plan and less likely to have anyone actively implementing it.
Overview
We coordinate across Mount Druitt, Rooty Hill, St Marys, Whalan, Tregear, Lethbridge Park, Shalvey, Emerton and Bidwill.
What we see
Two patterns come up repeatedly. The first is underspent funding. A plan is approved, nothing much happens, and at reassessment the underspend is read as evidence the person did not need the support. The second is a plan that never matched the person’s actual functioning to begin with, usually because the evidence submitted described a diagnosis rather than a day.
Both are fixable, and both need someone to build a case rather than make a phone call.
Local knowledge
Transport is a real constraint in this part of Sydney. A provider who looks close on a map can be an hour away by bus, which is why we plan supports around how a person actually travels rather than around postcodes.
We coordinate in English, Hindi and Nepali.

We never coordinate and deliver direct supports for the same participant. No conflicts of interest, ever. We work with plan-managed and self-managed participants. Coordination is available in English, Hindi and Nepali. All NDIS supports are GST-free under section 38-38 of the GST Act.
